I prefer uncircumcised and I've had it both ways. It does feel different to me during sex and with the circumcised men I found it took much longer for them to orgasm. By the time they were done I was getting uncomfortable.

I'm a guy, I used to be uncircumcised but decided to circumcise as an adult. I'm liking it a lot better. It's hard to explain why, but it just feels and looks neater and cleaner in a way, and I'm also able to endure longer and perform better in bed. I got snipped at the age of 25, and the only question to myself is why I didn't do it earlier.

So, I decided to do it out of respect for my fiance just after we were engaged. We contacted several doctors to review some options. And to other couples who are looking at circumcision options: We learned that there are no such thing as "just make the snip". There are several different procedures with a somewhat different results, pertaining to the "tightness". A lower cut produces a "looser" and more comfortable look, while a higher produces a more appealing, "tighter" look. Finding the perfect combination between comfort and aesthetics should be the key. There are also various means to avoid or remove scarring after the incision. After some talking to my fiance, I ended up doing a quite tight version, with another cosmetic surgery a couple of months after for some aesthetic adjustments and to tone down the scar.

Now, several years after I'm happy I did it. It just feels good, there are no extra skin "in the way".

I am a circumcised man and lived with mixed feelings about it all my life, growing up in circumcised America. A few facts i've picked up along the way: there is no proveable medical basis for circumcision - it is purely aesthetic - shedding new light on the idea of performing such a thing on a child.

That being said - it can be remedial for example in the case of phimosis or diabetics.

Regarding the "sweat and piss" and sexual pleasure questions. An intact penis secretes a filmy and -yes, smelly - substance called smegma. It is identical to fluids that a woman secretes from glands near the clitoris and vulva and functions - like a woman's genital fluids do - to trap and neutralize bacteria and microbial organisms that get stuck to the glans. The design is almost perfect, making the only part of your body designed to enter into your partner's baby-maker into a sterile environment. Contrary to common belief, this is not sweat, at all but an entirely different substance whose glands are mainly present in the foreskin. This could be related to the recent statistics that men who are intact are less likely to contract penile cancer.

During sex, the foreskin acts like a natural lubricant, reducing friction entering the vagina and increasing friction within the vaginal walls as the foreskin "bunches up" behind the head of the glans and "tickles" the folds of the vagina.

Yeah, it doesn't smell or taste the same (I think) and it may not look as pretty. But how much time do you want to look at it, anyway? It's actually healthier, safer for reproduction, easier for penetration and produces more friction. dislike of sex with an intact man is almost entirely psychological, based on the partner's exposure to circumcised penises.

Fun fact: circumcision became popular in Non-Jewish faiths largely because it was believed to deter young men from masturbating - yeah, that worked.

I'm actually a gay guy and I am circumsized and totally prefer circumsized in a partner. The look, the hygiene factor (I cannot take the sweat/urine whatsoever). Being uncircumsized does have the benefit of the owner not requiring lubricant to masturbate, that I DO envy lol. But everything else - for me it's circumsized all the way!

Hi Silverfox

My name is Philip and I am from Brazil. Although, circumcision is not a routine procedure here in Brazil, I chose to be circumcised as an adult so I know the real differences with and without a foreskin. Is it true that the head gets a bit desensitized? I think it is but it doesn't take all sexual pleasure away as some may think. I take a bit longer to climax now but I think it may be a little psychological. Hygiene has certainly improved because with the foreskin the small would come back without fifteen minutes after showing and I guess it happens to all uncircumcised males. I am not saying that every one would get circumcised but I can honestly say that circumcision DOES NOT KILL your sexual pleasure. It is different now for sure, I might take longer to climax and oral sex is less sensitive but hygiene is a lot better and so is sex.
